VMware Enterprise Software Licenses

The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) at UW-Madison has completed an Enterprise License Agreement with VMware (http://www.vmware.com) for the use of VMware Desktop and DataCenter products.  This ELA continues our investment in virtualization technologies, improving the efficiency and availability of resources on campus.

VMware software licenses are available to all UW and Wisconsin technical college system schools and affiliates.

All licenses include:

• A current version of the base software and tools at a considerable discount
• Platinum Level Support and Subscription
• A co-termed Maintenance period through September 29, 2012; and
• A designated VMware Technical Account Manager contact

Customized Professional Services Packages and Training Programs are also available through the  DoIT Licensing Team.
